Inspired by the traditional liqueurs, George Nikiforos, created Byraki flavor, tsikoudia enriched with flavors from all over Greece, aiming to introduce the public to more special tastes.

In 2008 the idea was created to get involved with spirits and liqueurs. In 2015 I found the strength to establish the ByRaki flavor company. Our goal was to initiate the audience in those flavors, we had created up to then.

The inspiration came from the traditional liqueurs combined with the products of the Greek countryside.

Byraki flavor is divided into three categories. The first category is classic tsikoudia or Cretan raki with high alcohol content. The second category is the classic traditional liqueurs, which have flavors from all over Greece, such as pomegranate, mastic, bergamot etc. And a third category that we have combined the traditional with the classic and created flavors for different ways of serving and special tastes, such as watermelon, chocolate, caramel and others.

Our products can be found in many places all over Greece, in delicatessen shops, in traditional grocery stores, in restaurants, as well as in bars.

Based on Crete, we are taking actions in cooperation with local actors.

We welcome the visitors of our country with Byraki flavor, in order to show them the Greek hospitality.

Having as an image, the demand for Greek products abroad, is very important and Byraki flavor and all the Greek businessmen to go abroad, to export products, in order to get the Greek market out of the crisis.

Our aim is to establish Byraki flavor, both in the Greek market and abroad, as a Greek product with special flavors and special character.

Through Byraki flavor I have spent pleasant and difficult moments. All these moments have offered me some things. I have learned from them, they have given me strength to continue and become stronger.

What I would advise someone who would now be in the process of starting his own business is to be determined to rise up with strength and intensity, to go ahead and get through all the difficulties that he will face.

I am George Nikiforos and I am the founder of ByRaki flavor.
